Lemon Iced Tea Recipe

Since we have been having the hot weather I have taken to keeping a jug of homemade lemon iced tea. I have refined this as I have gone along and have settled on this recipe

• 3 tea bags (I use lady grey and Darjeeling )
• 2tsp caster sugar
• 1 lemon
• 1/2 orange
• Mint

Pour 2 pints of boiling water over the tea bags, sugar and mint leaves Let it steep for 5 minutes . Slice half of the lemon and add to the tea then squeeze the juice of the other half of lemon and the half of orange into the tea. Add loads of ice till it has doubled in volume and then store in the fridge. To serve fill a tall glass with ice and pour over
