Restaurant al Saltapicchio is a Organic restaurant in Orvieto . The Restaurant al Saltapicchio was recommended to us by some foodie friends who we were staying with in Umbria. They run there own agroturismo and cook most nights for their guests but when they manage to get a night off they slip down here to enjoy the delights. We dined on fresh figs grapes and ricotta served with cold cuts, this was one of the daily specials and was fantastic if a little large for the two of us, the charcuterie was delicious. For starters we had minestrone and for main wild boar with polenta and one of us even managed to squeeze in a dessert of a chocolate mousse. Delicious but the sharing plate was the best
