“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving” Einstein

I am looking forward to 2009. There are lots of things that will challenge the way we live and think but I LOVE change. I don’t care if I eat lentils all year to save money – it will make up for all the truffle oil I have eaten before. I don’t care that it will be too expensive to go to Europe I want to discover Scotland and admire wildlife. I am getting a dog from the RSPCA and I want a bike…..life is about moving.

Aghhhhhhh!!!!!!!! you’re getting a dog! when when when when? loving what you wrote above, you are so right – i saw an old clip of The Good Life the other day and felt a pang of jealousy, i’d like to live in overalls and wellies and dig up the garden (what garden?) and recycle things…. you my friend are the one thats living the dream xxx

That’s me living the dream! often a bit of a nightmare but if the sun keeps shining then everything seems good

I’m digging the optimism, the lentils, the dog, Scotland and the bike – see you at “10 Under the Ben this year” http://www.nofussevents.co.uk/. Most see you in 2009!

Have got the dog now!! yeah

10 under the ben – I have just looked at this – I am not going to change that much!! more like a nice tea room with good windows to look at the view and I mean a push bike with a basket to cycle around town in a billowing skirt!! not getting muddy on a mountain !! fancy meeting up soon?

Are you really getting a dog! Yippee! Welcome to the weird mongrel lovers world! Walking a dog every day and noticing the changing seasons and the local flora and fauna has really bought me closer to happiness and contentment. Forget about how weird you look talking to yourself (ie your dog) in public, embrace the new age and get those wellies on! (I do admit the Kath Kidston ones are delicious though!).

Not just getting a dog but have got a dog!! in kind of doggie shock but very happy he is a parsons jack russell (tall and thin with white body and two patches over each eye) picked him from the rspca yesterday!!! looking forward to doing doggie walk with you xxx

  • I want a bike too… shall we go for nice bike rides when it gets sunny? That sounds lovely.
